Submit scrap paper.
Collect and separate plastic, aluminium,
glass and paper waste.**
Find yourself something
to do that doesn’t need electricity
like reading, playing outdoor or board games,
spending more time with friends.
Instead of riding a car to park,
to school or to your friends, walk or jog,
ride a bike, a skateboard or rollerblades.
Do not forget to turn water off. Close the tap while brushing your teeth, soap up your hands, washing head or dishes. Take a shower instead of a bath. Advise your parents to install a water saving showerhead. This will help save an average of 13 liters of water per minute. Turn off the light, TV, computer, radio etc. where they are not needed.
Plant a tree. Grown-up trees “eat”
about 24 kg of the gas you
breatheout every year and convert
it into fresh air for you to breathe.
Do not open the refrigerator or freezer
unless you really need to.
It may take up to half an hour to
restore the temperature,
and additional electric power
will be spent to do this.
After a picnic, take your garbage with you.
Any garbage, especially plastic, is very dangerous
for water bodies, soil, plants and all living things.
Plastic will decompose completely
only after many years.
